Volunteer Opportunites

Volunteer with Shepherd’s Arms Foundation of Hope

At Shepherd’s Arms, volunteers are essential partners in bringing hope and transformation to children and communities in need. Whether you're passionate about hands-on service, behind-the-scenes support, or offering professional expertise, there’s a place for you here.

Explore the ways you can get involved:

Children’s Home Projects (International Volunteers)

Join us on-site in the Philippines for a 1–2 week mission project. These opportunities are perfect for individuals, teams, churches, or schools looking to make a tangible impact.

Volunteer tasks may include:

  • Painting and restoring facilities

  • Constructing or improving housing and play areas

  • Setting up or maintaining sustainability projects (gardening, clean water, solar power, etc.)

  • Running skills-based workshops for children or staff

Please Note: Volunteers working in or around the children’s home will need to meet child safety requirements, including background checks and relevant screening.

Medical Outreach Teams

Our local medical missions serve communities across Bohol and Cebu. These short-term trips (typically 1–2 weeks) offer vital care to underserved areas and are run in partnership with local health colleges and businesses.

We welcome volunteers in the following roles:

  • Doctors and Nurses – General consultations, minor procedures

  • Dentists and Dental Assistants – Extractions, hygiene care

  • Pharmacists – Medicine dispensing and inventory

  • Health Students – Clinical support and learning experience

  • Admin and Logistics Support – Patient registration, flow coordination

  • Community Educators – Health awareness, hygiene, nutrition training

Administration & Media Support

If you're passionate about using your skills to help from behind the scenes, we need you!

Volunteer areas include:

  • Social media management and content creation

  • Fundraising campaigns and donor communications

  • Event planning and coordination

  • Graphic design, photography, or video editing

  • Data entry, reporting, and admin support

Many of these roles can be done remotely or in collaboration with our local team.

Interested in Volunteering?

We’d love to help you find the right fit. Whether you’re hands-on, remote, or somewhere in between, your time and talents can help bring healing, dignity, and opportunity to children and families in need.
