Haven of Hope Introducing Our Newest Initiative: A Safe Haven for Survivors of Child Trafficking (Coming Soon) Get Involved Shepherd’s Arms is in the early stages of developing a dedicated refuge for survivors of child trafficking in the Philippines—a critical need in this region. Currently finalizing site plans and securing government approvals, this holistic rehabilitation centre will provide: Safe Housing Our residential facility will be designed as more than just shelter – it will be a true sanctuary. Located on secured grounds with 24/7 protective oversight, it will have therapeutic living spaces and home like touches. Specialized trauma care We're partnering with licensed professionals to deliver trauma therapy, medical care and neurodevelopmental support. Education and life skills Each child will have access to a good education, with personalised academic plans, practical life skills, and opportunities for career progression. Spiritual and emotional restoration Our Christ centred approach will include trauma informed discipleship, faith based expressive therapies and community reintegration in healthy social environments. Why This Matters In the Philippines, an estimated 60,000-100,000 children are trafficked annually (ICAT 2023). Less than 15% of rehabilitation centres offer this level of specialised, long-term care. Our model addresses the whole person - where most programs focus only on immediate rescue

Children's Home At Shepherd’s Arms Children’s Home, we provide more than shelter—we offer a new beginning. Every child who comes to us receives loving care, quality education, nutritious meals, and a safe place to call home. Many arrive malnourished and traumatized, but through holistic support—including medical care, counseling, spiritual guidance, and life skills training—they grow into healthy, confident individuals. Our sponsorship program creates life-changing bonds, allowing donors to walk alongside children as they transform from vulnerable youngsters into thriving adults. With access to education all the way through university, these children break cycles of poverty and become leaders in their communities. None of this would be possible without compassionate partners. Together, we’re not just meeting immediate needs—we’re building futures filled with hope, purpose, and lasting change. 01 Education We remove every barrier to education by personally ensuring each child's access to quality schooling - from covering tuition fees and school supplies to arranging transportation and specialized tutoring. For those who qualify, we proudly fund university education in full, breaking generational poverty one degree at a time. Today, children who once faced abandonment are becoming teachers, nurses and community leaders through our sustained educational commitment. 02 Health & Wellbeing We provide complete wellness support - from critical medical care and hygiene essentials to sports equipment and music lessons - ensuring each child's full development. Our dedicated counselors and spiritual mentors walk alongside them through every challenge, healing past wounds while nurturing hope for the future. 03 Basic Needs From the moment children arrive—often malnourished and without shelter—we provide the essentials of life: safe homes with clean water, nourishing meals to restore health, and proper clothing for dignity and comfort. More than just meeting basic needs, we create a true haven where empty plates and unstable roofs are replaced with full hearts and the security of belonging—because healing begins with a full stomach and a safe place to sleep. 04 Impact a child directly Child sponsorship is a transformative journey—for the child and for you. For children who have faced abandonment, poverty, or instability, your sponsorship does far more than provide food, education, and shelter. It gives them something irreplaceable: the certainty that someone believes in them. Over the years, you’ll witness their growth—from tentative first steps into the classroom to proud achievements in adulthood. Many of our children, once struggling to survive, go on to become teachers, nurses, or community leaders because someone like you gave them the foundation to thrive. For sponsors, this connection becomes a profound source of joy. Your letters, prayers, and support create a bond that transcends distance, reminding you that love in action changes lives. You’re not just funding needs; you’re nurturing a future. None of this would be possible without partners like you. Many children still wait for a sponsor—someone to walk alongside them, providing the stability and opportunities every child deserves. Together, we can turn their struggles into strength, one life at a time. Sponsor a child IMG_6404 IMG_6328 att.TGnQzmk3xDvHOsQWkXiDk4Wtf0WByIVklynovtcNnpM IMG_6404
